The Columns in Decatur is an intimate special event venue uniquely suitable for Art Exhibition and family or corporate events.

Conveniently located at the corner of 6th Ave and Jackson Street in the charming Albany Historic District of Downtown Decatur, this 1912 Greek Revival style house with the characteristic large white columns and wide front veranda has been gently restored to maintain the integrity of the original structure while providing handicap access with a removable lift as needed.

The First floor is an elegant entertainment area offering a spacious Salon, Dining Room, Sun Room, Handicap Restroom and a Catering Kitchen.
The Second Floor is also available for use, having two staging /meeting rooms,  Mens' and Ladies' Restrooms, an Office and two Private areas.

Furnished in a formal style appropriate to the age of the house, the main entertainment area is staged to accommodate stand up functions, providing limited seating. Designed to be flexible, with the addition of tables and chairs, the entertainment space is also suitable for sit down luncheons, dinners or meetings.

Although the official capacity number is higher, the owner recommended maximum capacity is 80 people for a standing function and  50-60 for a seated luncheon or dinner.

We would welcome the opportunity to provide a very special location for your special event, whether that is a family celebration such as an intimate wedding ceremony and/or reception, bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, anniversary party, graduation party..... or a corporate event, such as a workshop, seminar. luncheon or annual meeting.
